Owais Jamil

Hey! I’m Owais. I’m a software engineer living in and from Austin, TX. I’m currently working as a Senior Back-end Engineer at Edlink, helping edtech companies integrate with learning management and student information systems. I have a whole host of interests from software architecture and web development to baseball and punk rock.

I’ve been a programmer since 2018, after studying to be an infectious disease researcher at the University of Texas. Since then I’ve worked as a Software Engineer at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, UT’s HPC data center, then later at CampusOptics, an Austin based start-up trying to be the leading EH&S platform for universities, as a full stack React Native and Rails Engineer.
